Someone taught me a long time ago to schedule my meetings all on one day and get them over with. It will free up the rest of your week. Makes sense and it gives me the weekly opportunity to connect with my people.
Sometimes I endure the meetings (if I am being honest). But on occasion and today has been one of them, I meet with people who make meetings very meaningful.
Thus far today I have had two meetings and still one to go. I have been greatly encouraged. I love watching people share with me the calling that God has placed on their lives. I really love it when they can’t tell it without a real meltdown. Not because I enjoy watching people cry but it so refreshing and encouraging to see passion and sense that God is doing something significant in their lives. I just truly believe He called us to do something significant for His Kingdom. Something that will stretch us and cause us to lean on Him. Something that is bigger than we are. When that happens, it humbles us and brings us to our knees but also excites us because He is entrusting us with so much.
I want to applaud those that I have met with today. Real vision and real commitment was evident. It moved my meetings from ordinary to extraordinary. And meeting number three I am sure will be no different.
