Today we unloaded the big U Haul and thankfully it appears that nothing was broken during transport. I am at least out of the dog house for a little while!
The men and women from Cathedral of Praise were at our home so graciously helping us. I can’t thank them enough.
Box after box we unloaded. About half way through I realized that all the stuff we brought and have purchased over the years really isn’t what makes a house a home. A house becomes a home when you and your family declare it so. It is when you have friends over for pizza. It is when you sit on coolers because there are no chairs. It is when you sleep on mattresses that aren’t even put on the beds yet.
It because all of that is just stuff. Our home is built on love and care. My wife helps provide an incredible atmosphere of love and care. My kids and their friends and our friends are recipients of that love.
I love my life. God has been good to us. He has given us favor and much grace. I am blessed!
